The Street

“When I draw the street I think of drawing the houses, the atmosphere, the trees, the cars. But not a city like now, with cars that give off smoke; but a city the way it was before; I imagine when the cars did not give off smoke that is bad…”

It was easier to breath, better than right now. Before you could ride your bicycle or walk without being in danger, now you cannot walk the streets because when a car goes passed you, they call out to you…”

The Community

“When they told me to draw the community, I painted the houses first, then the cars and the highway. The houses are important because this is where our friends, and relatives live…”

The School
