Working in collaboration with photographer Lynn Weddle the children involved in the ‘Exportaion’ participatory photography project created a self-portrait. The children decided as a group upon a backdrop which they felt was suitable and best portrayed their environment; the banana plants in the heart of the local banana plantation. Each child was given full control over the decisive moment by the use of a cable realise.
